Sales Terms and Return Policy – Dehaut Design Inc.
Sales Terms:
- Online or In-Salon Purchases: Since 2021, we’ve offered sales either online or in our salon. Place your order online and opt for delivery to any address by selecting ‘PHONE ARRANGEMENT’ for clients preferring to personally collect equipment from our warehouse or to negotiate delivery prices for furniture orders. Furniture and furnishing orders can also have their delivery costs calculated online on our website. A minimum of 24 hours is required to prepare your order. For urgent needs, such as washbasin parts, please contact us by phone. Hairdressing accessories require 24 hours for shipping preparation. Exceptions are made for hairdressing chairs, barber chairs, and hairdressing washbasins.
Return Policy: Remote Shopping
- Satisfaction Guarantee: If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 10 days of delivery to arrange for an exchange of unused items. Original receipt and packaging are required for any exchange. Keep your receipt as proof of purchase for product warranties.
- In-Store Exchange or Return: Within 10 days of purchase, exchanges or returns can be made in person at Dehaut Design. Bring your original receipt and packaging.
- Transport Costs: Dehaut Design does not cover the transport costs for returned items unless a prior agreement is made with us. In certain cases, Dehat reserve the right to charge import brokerage fees. This depends on where the equipment is situated when ordering.
- Order Cancellation: If you wish to cancel an order that has already been shipped, please note that transport fees are still applicable.
- Altered Items: Please note that any modified or transformed item cannot be exchanged.
- Inventory Check: Check availability with an agent via Email, Facebook, Whatsapp, or Phone before confirming an online order. We can’t synchronize inventories with multiple online sales platforms, road representatives, distributors, etc. The first-come, first-served policy applies, even if it involves a distributor and different profit margins.
Defective or Damaged Products
- Product Defects: If a product is found defective within 10 days of receiving your order, please contact us to determine the appropriate action. Most products have a post-purchase warranty, some for a longer period.
- Damaged on Delivery: If a product is damaged upon delivery, contact us as soon as possible. Any returned defective or damaged product must be accompanied by a printed example of the problem and the original box in good condition.
- Return Costs: Return costs incurred by the customer are non-refundable and are the customer’s responsibility.
- Return Authorization: No merchandise will be accepted without an authorized Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
- Manufacturer Direct: Some manufacturers require that defective goods be processed directly with them. In such cases, Dehaut Design will provide the necessary procedure.
Equipment Reservation Policy
- Satisfaction with Your Purchase: While we aim for complete satisfaction, there may be delays in the initially expected delivery date, due to customs clearance policies.
- No Refunds, but Equipment Exchange Possible: We don’t offer refunds, but exchanges are possible if necessary.
